BASIS Scottsdale is a highly competitive high school. Ranked as the No. 1 high school in the United States by US News News and World Report, it was established in 2003 to provide students with an internationally competitive curriculum to prepare their students regardless whatever their career.

Located just 20 minutes from Phoenix, Scottsdale is an urban city famous for its warm weather and is often called a golfer's paradise. A vibrant central area, there are many parks and entertainment programs. Located in Downtown Scottsdale on 10 acres, BASIS Scottsdale's new campuses, opened for the 2016-17 school year. The school has modern classrooms, laboratories, basketball courts and performing arts facilities.

There are several opportunities for BASIS Scottsdale students to express themselves outside the classroom. The school offers a number of different sports for both men and women throughout the fall, winter and spring. Students in grades 9-11 may participate in sports.
